    Time for another update!

Thursday, June 21, 2007, 11:23 AM CST [General]

"I told you about the walrus and me, man
You know that we're as close as can be, man
Well here's another clue for you all "
    The walrus was Paul"

just in case you were wondering....
Actually, funny story. The song "I am the Walrus" was sung by John Lennon,
so everyone thought that he was the walrus and then....
The Beatles released the song "Glass Onion" sung also by John Lennon,
and as you can see....he said the walrus was Paul McCartney.
He did this to screw with people....heehee

In the 1980 Playboy interview, John responded to the confusion:

"I threw the line in — 'the Walrus was Paul' — just to confuse everybody a bit more."

(I don't read Playboy by the way, I got the quote from teh intarwebs. Also, if I did, why would I have a copy from 7 years before I was born? That being said, since it was from 1980, this whole statement is somewhat obvious anyway and doesn't need to be said....oh well)

Paul also responded to the lyric in an interview broadcast on a Beatles documentary on WYNY 1981:

"[John] happened to have a line go 'the walrus was Paul' and we had a great giggle to say 'yeah, let's do that,' because everybody's gonna read into it and go crackers cause they all thought that John was the walrus."

ξ VIVA LA KSI! Out of all the greek letters, I think that one is my favorite to draw

ok the end, bye bye....off to sell some books to Hastings

    Back in Black!

Monday, June 11, 2007, 01:09 AM CST [General]

I'm back! I have been busy busy.Got a"b"in volcanoes and earthquakes! Pretty good for not reading at all the last week of the intersession class....oops. I was in Tulsa, so I was busy. New class started for June, Hispanic America from 1810-present. Blah. Oh well, tis only a month. I feel like I should have something amazing to say besides ramblings. Hmmm, nope nothing. I have had music from The Phantom of the Opera stuck in my head all day...."angel of music you deceived me!" la la la.

I sure hope no wacko preachers come to campus this year. They bother me so much! I think the ones that made me so very angry were the ones who had the shirts that said "God hates homos." WHAT A LIE!!!! God does not hate homosexual people, homosexuality yes, but not the people. It's the whole hate the sin love the sinner concept. It's like a father abhorring the fact that his child does drugs but yet the father still loves his child. The love does not  (or in the case of humans, should not) change. A father may be dissapointed in the choice a child makes but that has (or should not have) anything to do with how much the father loves his child. I have to put in parentheses because I was using a human example and because we are not God, we are prone to failure. A parent could love his child less because of something or another, but that is not how it should be. It happens because the parent is human. But anyway, nice tangent there....It just bothers me that some of these preachers want to focus on the fact that God hates sin. Yes He does, but there is so much love. That's what I think people need to start getting across. God will love every one of us no matter what we do, even if we turn away from Him. That's why He sent His son, Jesus, to die so that we may live ( in an eternal sense) I notice how the bible doens't say that Jesus died for all but the homosexuals or the druggies, etc. It says the world. I am pretty sure that means everybody.

I know this to be true, and yet I still have to tell myself that. Sometimes I have issues believing that I am loved. Apparantly, I am some amazing exception to the rule or something. Yeah, whatever, my perception of myself is crazy sometimes.

I don't know why I decided to type all that out. It's been on my mind and I guess I just wanted to get it all out. I don't even know if any of you would even remotly agree with me but that's ok. And least it wasn't a rant on those wackos being right or something (how awful would that be!)

Anywho, have a great day everyone!!!!
