Wow. It's indescribable, the way I feel right about now (aside from being sick with a cold), having finished the first week and a half of my final semester. It's a mixture of overwhelmed, scared, excited, happy and determined. I'm doing well so far, after dropping a class. But juggling four language classes (three Latin, one Greek) is proving to be quite a job already. Reminds me, I need to schedule a degree check. Yeah, should get on that. ASAP.
The world of national politics is also getting me down, just a bit. I don't especially like being so emotionally embroiled in political affairs. But these primaries have got me going. I'm a fan of Obama and Edwards, but I would rather see Obama take the lead. As such a person, Clinton's momentum is offensive to my sensibilities. I can only sit back and watch the rest of the drama unfold, for better or for worse.
Finally, I know everyone's blogging about it. So I'll keep this brief. But really, Heath Ledger. Man, it's still so hard to believe. He was such a rare talent and so poised to become even greater in his profession that it's an unimaginable tragedy. My sympathies to his family and close friends.
R.I.P., Heath.

As I listen to the track "The Riders of Rohan" from my LOTR soundtrack, I feel like I wanna watch The Two Towers. I feel like I need inspiration to kick major butt. Where better to look for it than a LOTR flick?
Ah, but Homer calls. More Iliad-translating to be done!
